Art Prints – XAS Michelin

In early 1971, a Michelin advertising plate rolled off the press of the Noël printing works in Auxerre. Its graphic style is reminiscent of the hyperrealistic movement. The top section presents the headlight and left side of an unbranded teal-blue sedan, literally suspended above a six-lane motorway…
This large-format, highly graphic print was an ideal decorative item for modern, sophisticated interiors.
It was hand-printed in the Expérience Sérigraphie print shop in Lyon, using three colour passes on very high-grade paper.
